Stealing one egg doesn't aggro the entire trench, look for a spot with few wyverns, lure them, kill them. The problem with Scorched is that there aren't really any fast fliers till you have a Wyvern. Pteranodons don't spawn on the map, Argies and Tapejaras aren't that fast and the moth does not really have any useful offensive abilities.
