Auto subs work by sub-out being the level they'll be taken out, with sub-in being the level they get put back in, but i don't believe this works on percentile so players with low stamina can get shafted here. If your fatigue is low, you need to switch to half pads for practice, and even change your practice reps for each position from starters to backups. This will regain your players stamina. Then when you get to the off-season, go into your settings and turn OFF progressive fatigue.
