There is also an AB subscore and getting at least a 4 will place you out of Math 140 as well. Although, if you get a 5 on BC, I’m sure you did just as well on the AB subscore. You should be able to place out of both Math 140 and 141 and move onto other requirements. The only topic in Math 141 that's pretty hard for most people is sequences and series. You don't need any prior preparation for it other than maybe brushing up on Math 140 concepts, but I do feel like you are likely to get better professors in the spring since most of the good fall professors would be taken by now.
