Master sword trials glitch.
It doesn't "break", but rather needs a recharge. You can make it indestructible if you just head back to the forest, and start up the Trial of the Sword again. It wouldn't even let me start the final trials while it was recharging. I'm not sure why, when I can't even use the sword in the trials to begin with.
