I've set up LG Companion to turn my C2 42 off after 5 minutes of no keyboard inputs on PC. However if I change inputs to Netflix/PS5 input, and start playing/watching and don't touch my PC Keyboard (primarily my laptop connected during the day for work) then the screen still turns off after 5 minutes whilst watching something.With the LG TV turned off with remote, windows still recognises the TV as connected and one edge of my desktop is on the "turned off" LG TV. TV is connected to a 3080 with HDMI2.1 cable, and is set as "extend desktop on this display" like the old 49'' super ultrawide.
