Kawasaki prairie 360 carburetor adjustment.
I just recently purchased a 2005 and 2006 360 and one upon riding it other than in the parking lot has mid throttle acceleration hesitation issues when throttle is pressed to gain speed, cuts out like starving for fuel. Starts great and idles fine in fact runs good until you enter mid range.

It is a good size piece that can be easily adjusted by hand. The air/fuel screw is on the front part of the bottom of the carb near the intake boot. If you loosen the clamp, you can turn the carb sideways enough to adjust it while still mounted. It takes a fairly smaller screwdriver to fit.92191. TUBE,6.5X11.5X130. 92191-1144. $23.76. Belt width is to be 1.17-1.22 inches. All I have is a 25 foot tape and it shows about 1 1/8" width. So well below specs. Which also means deflection is also way out of spec by maybe 1/2" or so. Looking at the service manual it does not look like a simple belt change and adjustment. Several special tools and so forth. May 26, 2009 · If you are sure that the carb & passages are clean & the float level is set right you may need to check your valve adjustment. I have ran into many 360s that the exhaust valve is way too tight. I set the valves at .007 intake & .009 exhaust.

I suspect you have the model with the heater in the carburetor to prevent icing.
