Just fyi added info: all dashboard indicators correspond exactly to observations of the lighting outside of the vehicle. This is a 2004 Odyssey.But a reset should have taken care of that. You can try turning off the power sliding door switch at the driver seat, then opening the door manually all the way. Then turn it back on and try to close it using the button. If that doesn't work, close it by hand and try to open it with the button again. It might work.It sounds like a bad switch in the rear door latch. 2007 Odyssey EX, 190K Miles. Second owner but I've had the car since 19K miles. Maintained largely myself. This started out as a typical sliding door issue. Battery went dead, passenger side power sliding door stopped working completely. As a corollary, I've also had interior light issues for a long time. Not sure how connected these might be.

That is the fuse for both doors that is hot all the time, and is the one that people find the parasitic drain on when there is a door latch problem. That said, that door is VERY unsafe without the rear latch in the latched position.
