Long since gone, but I've heard of one made by Gear Vendors. Problem with a C-3 is the driveshaft is so short there just is not much room lengthwise, and the tunnel is pretty small aft of the trans.I put a Gear Vendors in my 72 short bed K10, th400 15 years ago. The installation was easy, just measure up the driveshaft length, I had to shorten the rear driveshaft a bit and it worked fine. The pumping losses of that probably negate or are worse than the OD section being in front of the main geartrain. You'd use the same Tcase and adapter. 4L80-E is very similar to a Th400. In fact they do share some of the same internal parts. Splines are the same, gear ratios are the same except the 80-E has the OD, the same 6 bolt pattern extension or tailshaft housing etc.
