Not the best beach on St Lucia. Vigie is the closest beach to the cruise ship terminal. It boarders a cemetery and airport. You cannot walk to it from the docking area. Much better beaches to spend the day at for a cab ride of $12-15 per cab each way.We've cruised to St. Lucia before and decided to avoid the cabs and pressure by walking to Vigi beach, across the runway from the cruise terminal. The walk was relatively short (~1.5m) on sidewalk through a relatively busy section of road. Never felt exposed or uncomfortable as tourists.
