Ruger security 9 slide stuck.
The issue is, basically, if I hand cycle the slide and ease it forward, the slide will get stuck about 1/8" out of battery. I then can push the slide forward the rest of the way. Like I said, it doesn't affect live firing, but the P89 I owned in the past wouldn't get stuck out of battery when doing this, so I wonder how normal this is.
The slide would stay locked back when there were still rounds in the magazine. This happened more than once. Plus often when you put a new (loaded) magazine in and pull the slide back to put a round in the chamber the slide got stuck in the back position. While at the range today I thought I had an FTF and went to eject the mag.
