I think Western Auto's Revelation were also made by Mossy. Anyway, I used the Mossberg 500 for many years and it never jammed, but that safety broke a few times, a common problem for them. Otherwise a solid gun and probably the best value overall. Now I shoot the Benelli Super Nova with regular comfort tech stock and love it.

I like the benelli but its noticeably heavier. It is also finished the best of the other two. Rounded edges, thicker barrel, fit and feel is the best as well. If I could only pick one, id keep the mossberg 835. But i am a duck hunter first, clay buster second, ranch work third.
