This is passenger side between the core plugs. Block code (in the usual place) confirmed as 3970010 "M" code next to this.

The 3970010 engine block casting number does not mean 350. It could be a 327, 307 or 350, 2 or 4 bolt main from 1968 thru 1978. All it can tell you for sure is that the block is a 4 inch bore. However, if you are a betting man, you would most likely win guessing 350 because it is the most common casting number for a 350.

Also forgot to mention this block was used for both 327 and 350 cubic in. motors. Became a 350 for 68 up in most Chev. lines. Block usually will have the 10/20 tin nickel content.
