96 Polaris Explorer 300 Problems. I have a 96 explorer 300 that was starting fine and one day I shut it off and it would not start by the starter. All I heard was clicking coming from the sylinoid. When I bought my 2000 Xplorer 400, I had the dealer adjust it so it gets a little more oil than is called for in the service manual. After 10 minutes or so of riding, my machine smokes more than it should, too.
