In terms of feats, I think I read that a level 5 soldier gets one more feat than a level 5 scout (which is usually where I start holding levels before I become a Jedi). But the scout gets better skills, two implant feats, and uncanny dodge.

Kotor 1 has exactly 1 plot twist and a variety of great subplots with twists that are very fun. This also makes a replay really fun to explore. Kotor 2 isn't really a game about it's plot. There are a couple twists near the end but they're not cool like Kotor 1.
