Aug 29, 2023 · I have noticed something however with my first print. The perimeter thickness of the organic structures default to a very thin wall thickness. So thin that a couple of places the print is just failing. I looked at the settings for something that would indicate the support perimeter thickness and I am missing it.

Organic supports seem to be more prone to this issue from the amount of reports seen where this is happening. If the part itself is sticking fine then instead of increasing the brim size which is a part setting, increase the Support Material>First Layer expansion setting. That in effect is the 'brim' size of support bases.I think some supports will always be tough to remove depending on their size and orientation within the print, but the best luck I’ve ever had was with the settings a user shared on the Prusa forums, and many people seem to agree. It’s written in the release notes on the github. Ah, I definitely did not read the notes. Thanks. It is a long list of notes, so I get it 😂. I printed exactly one print with a raft and never did it again. I still don’t know of any scenario where a raft makes sense.
