The sailfish bite remains good up and down the line. Not huge numbers on the sailfish; but very consistent action day in day out on them. A few pomps coming on the Goofy Jig; but the better bite has been on bait, with sand fleas being the top bait choice. The Juno Beach Pier has continued to produce a few Spanish Mackerel as well. White crappie jigs and small Rapala X-Raps have been the top lure choices for the Macs. A few schools of jacks have cruised through this week. From the Juno Beach Pier a white crappie jig is the top lure choice for the Mackerel. Mixed in with the Spanish Mackerel will be some bluefish and jacks. The same lures will work for the jacks and bluefish. A pretty good number of croaker and whiting in the first trough over the past week. Small pieces of fresh shrimp is the bait of choice.

From the pier bait it seems to be about a 50/50 split between bait and Doc's Goofy JIgs catching the pomps. Bright colored Goofy Jigs (Pink, Green, and Orange especially) remain the best color choice.
