I used the moonveil in the early/mid game but it’s boring to use as it’s so insanely overpowered at a certain point and quick that no enemies are a challenge and you breeze through everything so I stopped using it and did a quest line that got me the dark moon great word and it’s a great sword but again it’s kind of boring to use.Standard greatsword moveset like Darkmoon and its weapon skill is by no means fast (but probably still faster than buffed R2 Darkmoon), but extremely strong and has enough upsides to it to warrant using it often. And it's still less vulnerable than R2 buffed Darkmoon because of the quicker recovery.
