But im a Fighter 3 - Arcane Archer, and Ranger 3 Horizon Walker. Flavor wise its fucking awesome.. But having to use both Dex, Int and Wis sucks. Although the arrows i choose as arcane archer doesn't require saving throws. I would say take the first 5 levels ranger. Then take either two levels of druid or three of rogue. Scout and assassin would work well for your concept. I would say wield a longsword and shield, or a greatsword/axe as the horizon walker is about one powerful attack.
