My 1998 Harley Davidson Sportster XL883 Hugger gets 55 mpg. Pretty good for a cruiser type bike that's got an engine of nearly 900 cc displacement.

If your bike is tuned and running properly you can get anywhere from 25 to 55 miles per gallon depending on your weight, wind, throttle habits, the terrain you are riding in, your cruising speed, and the list goes on. I get approximately 160 miles on the main and normally 3.2 to 3.4 gallons to fill it.
