So you can remove the update for the game by right clicking on the game, properties and un-tick the "update".. anyways for me I didn't need this anymore because the problem was with the version of yuzu itself, I updated yuzu and update all mods started working again, I had no issues after.

Plus, as trowgundam says, Vulkan is a lot more manual work to get things right, OpenGL handles memory management on a driver level. i play on this computer with BC1. still crashes sometimes sadly.

By setting anisotropic filtering to "Default" it greatly reduce artifacts to the point where it's barelly noticeable. The fix here did get rid of artifacts, but inside the shrines my framerate drops under 20 fps. So possibly i need to go back to before set at 3x the artifacts are negligible and fps much better.

It adds a lot of artifacting that I can't personally tolerate.
