Once running it runs without issues. Everything was adjusted to factory specs. I have run out options to resolve. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 2. opened up the entrance hole on the intake. 3. I drilled 7 three quarter inch holes on the inside of the airbox on the opposite side of this tube. Sorry I didn't take pictures of it afterwards. 4.I changed the stock main jet which is a 122 with a 135. 5. I changed the pilot jet from a 38 to a 40. 6.
2002 Eiger 400 Carb Problems still. I'm still having problems with idling and it still backfires at low throttle. I have the carb apart again. There are three screws on the bottom by the float, 2 regular screwdriver and the bigger one I use a small wrench to back off. I've sprayed carb cleaner thru all three with the screws out.
