What if the P320 M17 FCU is the version with a manual safety? Will the various slide/barrel configs work. My thinking is should, since it would seem the manual safety maybe only blocks the trigger bar, but I have yet to take one apart. Hello. My mags aren’t fitting into the x series grip mod with the m17 fcu installed. And yes I’m using the newer Sigg mags. The magazines will seat into the X series grip when the FCU is removed, but when the FCU was installed the mags won’t go in all the way like something is obstructing them.Nearly any slide length/frame size combo works. A full size M17 can be concealed but most people prefer something smaller. Personally I carry a compact slide with a compact frame. I have a smaller frame so the slightly shorter grip helps conceal better. Buy a smaller slide and a smaller grip.
