I'm in San Francisco and even at home the coverage will occasionally drop. Two nights ago I was in downtown San Jose (Santana Row, large outdoor mall setup) and had zero service. Unfortunately this is fairly common.I switched from Google Fi to Mint about 2 months ago. Mint is much cheaper for someone like me that uses approximately 2.5-3gbs each month. Here are some differences I noticed: Google Fi phone calls transition between wifi and cellular towers much better. Not a big deal, but it is something I noticed.
