Then aftermarket tune it for a 103. I assume that there is an issue with the green stuff, or you would just be rebuilding the 88 as a 98 or larger.

Re: Harley motor to VW trans axel. While there used to be several adapter manufacturers offering a HD to VW kit, to my knowledge Rewaco is the only viable source for them anymore. Most of the suppliers quit offering them due to rear bearing failure in the motor (too much VW flywheel stuck on the HD crank end).
