The 4.2L isn't much of a truck engine I think. A Cadillac 500 is just too much engine for me in this truck but maybe I'll build one some day. Dirty Dingo slider mounts for about $100 is the way to go. LS motor and any trans will bolt together and drop in with no welding. Do the wire harness yourself and save a butt load of $$.

Don't forget you have a swapped motor in a 4x4, which are harder to find headers for. But a lot of people will stick with the factory LS manifolds as they actually flow pretty well, unless you are getting into cam swaps etc. But if staying fairly stock, it's probably not worth the hassle to do headers.
