For the minimum stats required to wield the Uchigatana, Basic+10 gets you approximately 233 total attack, versus 195 total attack for Sharp+5. Sharp+5 starts to outdamage Basic+10 at 26 Dex (264 vs. 260). At 40 Dex, Sharp+5 gets 309 total attack, while Basic+10 gets 286. Whether or not it's actually worth it, I can't really say.

Quality at 40/40 or Sharp at 20/60 (idk what are the best stats for scaling). Since there's no respec I don't want to fuck up. Sharp. Quality Uchi doesn't even pull ahead until 44/44. You might as well put those points into int/magic for weapon buffs, or just vitality for more living.

It has slightly less base damage, meaning it will probably have 20-30 points less attack power when fully upgraded, but has double the durability and weighs less. The 100 is the built in stats of the weapon. The 30 is what you are gaining from scaling off of your stats. If it’s a negative instead, it’s because you don’t meet the minimum requirements for the weapon and actually causes it to do less damage.
