I bought a Bergara trigger off eBay for $15, I think it was out of a centerfire B14, I took it apart, didn't want to experiment with my original trigger, adjusted the spring, at maximum tension it was about 1.25 pounds, below that it wouldn't hold when I slammed the bolt closed.The MTR's are VERY scarce and commanding crazy $ these days. The good news is that CZ 457s are as customizable as a Ruger 10/22. As an option you can buy any CZ 457 and build it the way you like for (usually) equal $. Love it, but my B14R has become a black hole for money. Both the CZ and Bergara are great rifles and depending on what your use case is, they can both be configured to whatever form you want. The B14r is chunkier and handles like a full size center fire so the 457 CAN be lighter if you want.

This is the Acorn style from Anarchy Outdoors. This is a great knob but its too long for some applications. The shorter version is ideal, I have the short version on my PB-14R. You have to use the above adapter to use this knob. Area 419 knob. The design didn't work for me. This is the Bergara B-14R knob.The bravo and T1X trigger are excellent match ups. Barrel length is a toss up. Bergara is 18”. Tikka 16” or 20”. CZ has 16”, 20” and 24”. Seems most running cans go with 16”. 20” for balance and decent ES/SD and longer barrels are common in bench style guns.I own both Bergara B14-R Carbon, Athlon Cronus 4.5x29x56, 30 moa rail, TT Special, FleaBay muzzle brake. Tikka T1X, Athlon Ares 4.5-27x50, KRG Bravo, FleaBay muzzle brake. B14-R shoots better for me. Tikka is no slouch.Like a jungle mag, you just rotate 180 degrees, and you have 10 more on tap. While the magazine is $95, it does take the place of two $37 Bergara mags for the same space. And the Mack Brothers is CNC machined out of aluminum, unlike the plastic Bergara mag.
